Head up to Beverly for a Homecoming Brewers Festival
Beverly Homecoming is in full-swing. The week long family festival kicked of on July 27th and lasts through the weekend. The highlight of the festival, at least for people like you and me, is this Friday – the First Beverly Homecoming Craft Brewers Invitational Brewfest. Whew, thats a mouthful! I will now call this the BHCBIB.
Cody Brewing is behind the BHCBIB and they are no strangers to organizing festivals. Ben Lauranzano from Cody has said that they not only participate in festivals, but also organize multiple festivals a month. Lauranzano ensures that the Homecoming Brewfest will be a great one, as its been in the planning process for months in order to make the BHCBIB a smooth sailing success.
The overall theme of the Brewfest will be to educate folks about local craft beer in Massachussets. With the recent surge in craft brewers, Massachusetts now has over 55 brewers! Very impressive.
